To make them easier to read, the format has been changed and the type set in a more legible size. Otherwise, the text has been copied exactly. The first title of the series reproduces South Australian parliamentary papers relating to John McKinlay's arrival at Escape Cliffs and his explorations in the Northern Territory in 1866. An illustration and a modern map have been added to complement the original text and map. Also, the 29 page introduction by Valmai Hankel has been added.
