The Annals of Bendigo are essentially a summary of news items as appearing in the Bendigo Advertiser newspaper since its commencement of publication in 1853. The Advertiser was the first newspaper published on the Victorian Goldfields. The value of a work of reference such as the Annals depends largely upon access to an adequate index. Hence the index which was published in 1988 has become a very sort after and rare after item. Click here to Order
